We are all programmed to trust, respect, and admire certain positions and people based on their titles. But, the truth is that we’re all just human.
People are not immune to downfalls and human weaknesses just because of a title or certain letters following their name. People are complicated and simple all at the same time.
People possess traits that are unflattering and unappreciated. That includes all people.
Next time you look at a doctor, a lawyer, a politician or an “expert”, just remember that we’re all people. We only see what people want us to see.
Rarely does what you see represent the actuality and not just the glossy package that is meant to be displayed. People are filtered, masked, edited and photo shopped.
It’s hard to decipher what’s real and not anymore.
This doesn’t mean that you must be a cynic or angry about it. The intent behind this isn’t to ignite hostile emotions, but rather to fuel your curiosity with everyone and everything.
Don’t take anything at face value.
Evaluate and reevaluate all that is told, retold, and presented to you. Become able to decipher and weed through the manure to find the precious gems.
